Behind the Brand: Why I Started Sunguard Swim

Every brand has a story — and ours started with a simple moment at the beach.

It was one of those golden afternoons where time slows down. My kids were digging in the sand, chasing waves, and living their best barefoot lives. But between reapplying sunscreen every 20 minutes and wrestling my toddler into a floppy hat, I realized something: sun protection shouldn’t feel like a chore.

As a mom, I wanted gear that actually worked.
As someone with a background in fashion, I wanted it to look good too.
And just like that, Sunguard Swim was born — out of the belief that kids’ swimwear could be functional, stylish, and made for real life.
